In creating this chair inspiration comes from a model of the architect Carlo Mollino realized in 1953/54. Traditionally the curvatures have always been made, as also Mollino himself did, on cylindrical surfaces. In our case, thanks to our previous experience in modeling, we introduce the torsion in some constituent elements of the chair. This has caused some more problems in the constructive phase, but the result shows a strong advantage in terms of material resistance to stress. The design is strictly symmetrical, except for a gracious asymmetry in the back.
